History of Mainframe Productions and MFMI

Mainframe Film and Television Productions, managed by Tunde Kelani is a film and television productions company which is based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Mainframe Productions was incorporated in 1992 to serve the following purpose:

To promote our culture (particularly the Yoruba cultural heritage) and moral values both within the country and the outside world.

To promote our culture (particularly the Yoruba cultural heritage) and moral values both within the country and the outside world.

To improve the standards of film production in Nigeria.

The name MAINFRAME comes from the concept of the FRAME as the fundamental rudimentary base of motion picure. On the other hand the concept of a FRAME as a load bearing structure expresses our readiness to accept the challenges of promoting our culture by producing high quality motion pictures. This is why we are “OPOMULERO”, the solid pillar that holds the fort.

True to its vision, Mainframe Film and Television Productions has produced classy and classic features, documentaries, short films, TV programmes and commercials.
